Its not difficult to tune the PID, provided you fully understand those terms by itself. Check out the MWC thread here, and see the stability it offers, if so many can do it, no reason for you not able to do it too.

You can contact you LHS (who sells MWC) or PM me, i will help you out. Probabaly take me 5 min to tune it on the spot.

The mwc is getting smaller and smaller, and its less wirings with MWC board.
Thanks for your help. I still can live with a bit of wobble. Maybe near future, I will need your help if I install a camera onboard.

        So where is everyone flying?[/QUOTE]

Hi Jeff, where had you been long time no see. As usual I fly @ Tpn CD field 6 days a week beside Sat . Multicopter is getting more and more popular over there sometimes you will see more multicopter than plane .

@ wireframan, if you are interested in aerobatic funfly, just pick any board w/o auto level or fly in arco/rate/menu mode + 330-400mm frame + 1200-1400kv motor + quad(+ or x) configuration + 1000-1600mah 3s, the key is keep it light then you are good to go .

        p.s. arco/rate/menu mode funfly is very addicted...be prepare .

        Regards,
        Edwin.K

          Thanks Edwin! ;)
I'm actually planning to DIY a 450size for aerobatic and I think kk board is perfect for this build. Some parts are ready buy still got no time to build
Hope to fly with you again Kallang multi-flyers!

@Amas, I think any boards is not a problem to me or to all heli flyers whoe wants to fly qaud like me since Heli is way way more difficult to fly compared to non-auto leveling qaud. I only grabbed the Naza since it is perfect for my long time hobby "Videography"

Actually, when you let me test your 350 at Kallang, I thought it was on auto leveling mode. But now you said it's not. I'm surprised!

During the 1st gathering Amas asked me "Why you paid so much on your board?". My answer was "because I don't know how to fly multicopter but this board come with auto level". I asked myself a same question 2 weeks ago, right after I've turn off my multiwii ACC. I have to admit to some extent auto level do helped during the learning process but is not a must, by nature multicopter w/o auto level is so much stable compare to heli, unless you lost orientation, tbo auto level won't safe your ass too or input too much stick movement, which you are not suppose to ).
Wireframan, you are heli flyer go with KK will never go wrong. Cheap/simple setup/not much tuning needed/perform well if you love flip and loop kind of acro funfly/can get locally. I highly recommended anyone to start from KK then invest more in future if you after FP or AP.

p.s. Do I miss Auto level?...what's auto level hur?

            Regards,
            Edwin.K

              Thanks Edwin

By the way forgot to mention the major reason why I grabbed the Naza

I remember few months ago, when I asked him what's his opinion about quad told me "why quad? it's just a one trick pony, heli is so much fun compare to multicopter" but look at him now...having so much fun .

                      Ya, fully agreed.

Now multirotor has come a long way, with variable pitch, its time for those who likes 3D flying to come in to join the fun
