Gentlemen, wind blowing 3 gusting 4 steady, occassional 6 kts. Seem correct direction, sky clear and sun is out.

wind now 5 gusting 7 kts. direction slightly westerly. Think good enough for lighter gliders.

Yup, i have noticed it for the past week. The wind is not that strong but the direction is correct.

went on two of the Saturday afternoon in Mar. One time no wind and the other time pouring dogs and cats. next two weekend tie-up with work.
hope it can last till end Apr.

Sloping in Arpil

when we reach around 2, wind was very much from the right. We didnt gave up hope, fix up our planes and waited. I threw out my plane for a test fly, the wind gradually change direction to direct at the slope.

As adrian mention the wind is not so strong but it was smooth and we managed to catch a few thermals to go quite high. Dennis clock over 100 plus meters on his logger on one flight and was fighting with the eagle. I managed to maiden my 3m javelin. The winds slowed down towards the evening and became very light, direction was still correct though. This season was a short one , ended 1,2 weeks after CNY, being able to slope again after 1.5months was great. We went home happy.

Vin if we are lucky we may be able to get 1 or 2 more weeks with flyable wind on some days as past 2 years the wind stop around mid Arp. Hope for the best and the windgods may just give us some time extension again.

Took half day leave to cheong up the slope.
A leave well spent. The thermal also brought couple of eagles out and a flock of crows. I just circle in the same area they were in and the vento just keep climbing. Stupid eagle keep chasing me and wasn't able to go higher.
