Just keep the team here updated while we are sorting out the parts.... Looks like the 1st unit will be end of the month instead of mid Aug.
Now we know why not many Quad flying here as sometime just too much work to get things from every where.. So we are actually providing solution as RTF to save all your trouble.
Now we know the followings:
- the Aluminium Arm will be anodized with color. Front Arm is Red. others is Black
- Arm replacement will be easy and possible even at field. Should be no soldering work needed
- will have connection ready for your own LEDs, like a 12V connection direct from the main 3S Lipo. A switch will be in consideration as well.
This morning just few another test flight at Anchorevale Link field. Fun with some looping... relatively strong wind at some point but still holding well. Hope those tried it do enjoy it..
For Video, stay tuned from skyhobbies as he took some of the flight video.
Cheers!

Guys... the thread still alive....
Today just tried with X configuration. Very simple, just set my Futaba TX with Delta setup or Elevon for most radio.
Holding the Quad above head with one hand and click the trim button till I feel it pull at vertical up.
And put it on the floor and hover up and with a little trim as normal. The Quad now fly in X direction intead of the + direction.
So this is proven with NO hardware change, it can fly either with X or + direction. Cool and simple.
Now just waiting for more parts arrival so can start the 1st batch build.
My current Quad after some stick time can easily do loop and orientation also not that much issue as I just started two weeks ago.
Today also done a test with FY20A stabilisation module, not very ideal for Quad but it does help at some point. So for a regular Heli flyer, the FY20A may not really helps.
For a real beginner, it does add as insurance as you can just push the power and the Quad will just go up level.
Cheers!

Parts of the Quad are coming in as scheduled, pre-booked buyers will get their machine in early Sept. Below are the status of the inventory lists:
1) Alu arms anodized in black and red (forward facing arm) colour : Instock
2) Brushless motor 4 per kit : Instock
3) Electronic speed controller : Instock
4) Stabilization controller board : Instock for 20 sets
5) Universal mounting frame : Delivery end Aug
Actual RTF Quad will be around 25% bigger in overall size as compared to the prototype piece, this will aid visually for orientation purposes, as well as larger space in the center for FPV/Camera components.
Some features of this Quad design are, the individual arms unit can be swapped without soldering, making repairs in the field easy, and the center frame pcb board takes care of all the messy wiring usually associated with DIY sets, connection terminals are all properly routed to the edges for any TRI,QUAD or HEX configuartions of the Multicopter.
Bottom frame board came with provision for LED lighting, connection terminals are also available at the arms area, making the LED strips add-on a breeze to install, however LED lightings are optional, not included in the RTF kits, Daniel will be able to help those whom are interested to outfit with LED ligntings.
Pics of various components of the Quad will be posted next, stay tuned !
