Problems with futaba 2.4 Ghz RX on Tamiya MFC unit

Hi, anyone experiencing problems using the above setup?

I have a futaba 12fg - the my scania does runs with the 2.4ghz rx but it has issues with starting the the engine sound of the truck.

I'm not sure if this is inherent in all 2.4ghz tx.

Hi Mac,

Not all 2.4Ghz. Most of the 2.4Ghz can do the job. I guess you are using R6014 rx?

Hi, I use R6106HF, but have used other futaba rx as well but it din work. I should have known, cos it din work on my 4x4 Tamiya hilux and all as well ( swap it with fm modulation moons back)

Revert to ppm mode, all's fine now...but I dearly wish it worked on 2.4

I am using Futaba 8FG Super with R6014FS for my Knight Hauler, got some small issue but can be settled by some programming. My 1850L is using same Tx with R617FS, perfect, no issue at all. You may want to try out the R617FS!

R6016HF is using 7 ch mode right?

So far I know JR12X, Sanwa SD-10G with 841rx, Spetkrum DX6i, Futaba 8FG Super with R617FS, no issue at all.

You started w car and trucks, then Heli, then planes, then a long break cos you have Junior to trf, then sailboat, then scale boat, then tanks, then subs then back to cars and trucks.
