Thanks for the info..saw the website and i was shock at the specs of the planeOriginally posted by MeePokMan View PostViper,
You probably can get seed money for this project from potential investors. But you would need to come up with a good business plan. I got good lobang for this.
You can read more about the Desert Hawk here (http://www.defense-update.com/products/d/deserthawk.htm). It's really made from a kind of styrofoam! I spoke to some users here and they keep saying this is a great UAV, they keep repairing it after landing as it does not have wheels!
Good luck!
Weight: 3.5 kg
Length: 13 cm.
Span: 21 cm
Power: electric motor
Mission endurance: 75 min.
21 cm span , carrying a weight of 3.5kg for 75mins? woah... , i think they made some mistake there in the specifictaions or it is really true? The wingloading is Super heavy.. But still good info..., our UAV will be very similar to theirs with short take off or bungee capabilities...
Sure, we'll keep our UAV production cost as cheap as possible then the UAV can be sold off 200x the price hehe...Originally posted by Adrianli View PostIf u can really built a UAV with the capabilities of Global Hawk and Fire Scout at less than S$1000, that will be a real surprised.
Remember, these two UAV can carry a missile payload, how much weight can your design carry???
Yep, though of missile payload.. done it before with my F-22 scratch build plane somewhere in daddyhobby... just got to fly faster to carry heavier payload.

That's good info there about the plans for desert hawk.., thanks, but we'll be coming out with a fresh design... will be original.
Anyway new updates again, the 2 planes are being hung on the ceiling by steel wires. Skybox has a servo-controlled rotating camera which provides life action via the laptop which will be turned on during the showcase so those people there could actually play with it and see it working.

Haha.., yepyep!! i would prefer to hang stuffs on the ceiling then the wall cause it looks so much cooler..., but i'm lazy to drill holes into the ceiling at the moment. Until all my walls are taken up then i've no choice but to hang by ceiling. Then slowly invade into my living room..., then toilets and probably the kicthen too...Originally posted by jansonfinn View PostThis kind of hanging method can be used in ur house for ur 777 n F16

On the last day we took our big toys out to play!! There wasn't room for a flying display but just by taxiing 2 planes around at the main entrace of the Spionovex and convention centre put us into the center of attraction.
