Hi! This is Ken from Malaysia... Just got my AR Drone for RM1199.00 (Close to SGD Pricing). Taken it for it's first outdoor flight and took several photos. Just doubt that they are in HD. The image properties does show they are 1280 X 720 but in 72dpi. Not so happy about it.

Battery Pack

Has anyone successfully replace the battery with other 'hobby' brand? I am thinking to change the connector to deans to fit Turnigy 3S 1000mAh 20C lipo packs. They are way cheaper then the AR battery packs.

I think Singapore Hobby is testing a 1300mah battery for the Drone 2.0

Personally I like the Drone 2.0 battery, with its dedicated wall charger its so easy, plug it in, wait for it to charge up, unplug and fly. No worry about over charging, balancing the cells etc etc etc.
Yes they are expensive, but Like most things in life, you pay your money & make your choice.
I usually get around 12min flight time with my Drone 2.0 which I think is great from a 1000mah battery especially when compared to the 7mins i used to get from 2200mah on a DJI F450.
