I'm planning to visit Singapore for a short visitby the third week of this month and would like to buy a 1:24 VsTank Pro Airsoft version, either Abrams or Leopard model (NTC or NATO camo colours).

What's the price range of these tanks in Singapore? Could you kind folks refer me to reliable shop(s) which sell these tanks at a reasonable price without being ripped off? Would appreciate referrals., as I won't have much time to scout around.

You can get it in Orchard Road at Hobbylink in Far East Plaza.

It's now about $220. Think they are quite good as in you can still get spare parts from thre. If you buy over the net like through Toyeast.com, they dun come much cheaper due to the freight cost.

      Enjoy.

I own a IR and it's really fun. Lucky thing is my manager plays it with me. An dhtere is a regular ground for it.

Thank to Jummat for preparing such a fun ground to play with.

Thanks for the info. I agree with you regarding the freight cost - that deters me from ordering online. Any alternate shops just in case Hobbylink doesn't carry the models I want?

          Hi StarryDog,

I'm actually planning to let go my VSTank Leopard A6 for $180. It's the AS version but with the older controller. Bought about 2 months back, but it's in prestine condition. NATO colours

I'm letting it go in anticipation for the T72.

            Video is Out

But if the sound inside the video is anything to go by, then it's a dissappointment man!

What's the chances that those they put out in the market does NOT have that clap sound? That's sound is okay for a WW2 tiger, but definite not for a modern T72.

Well the sound board is really a disappointment. But i did recall the spokesperson from vstank stating that there is a new function/feature of the vstank t72 ? What is it ? Is it the 60 deg climbing ability ?

Anyway i still feel that the sturmtiger is worth waiting for compared to the t72.

I think the speical feature is the slow point-rotation feature where the body and the turret rotate together in opposite direction. Looks cool...minus the sound.

From what was said by the Vstank guys, seems that the tanks with new sound board will only come in 2008. This means there will be two versions of the T-72 - the old T-72 (with Tiger sound) and new T-72 (with new sound board).

If that's the case, everyone is going to play a "wait and see who buys first" game. I for one would not be getting the T72 if the sound is the same as the Tiger. Gosh, I mean, it makes my HL look like a ferrari in comparison.

I may be wrong here but I thought all HL also used recorded sound of Tiger from a orginal recorded source...."the T brand" so actually all HL tanks sounded like a Tiger...

No lah...if they really use the recorded sound of a Tiger, I will be VERY happy liao...

Actually, all HL tanks copy from the engine sound of the Tamiya Sherman tank. Don't beleive just watch any video of the Tamiya Sherman and you will know what I mean.
