Does anyone notice that the T-72 is using the new Tiger Tx? If this is so, then this means that the T-72 will be able to turn and move like the Tiger liao...

Anyway, Judging from the duration of the Tiger from first picture to actual sales, I think the T-72 will likely appear in about 6 to 7 months time.

So start saving up...and start psycho-ing your wife that you NEED another tank.

Yaaay! Kudo's if it has the MG and speed control of the tiger; hopefully it'll be out sooner than 6 - 7mths, then it'll be a 2008 VSTank

Just curious, how much does a Vstank cost? Looks very interesting, especially those that can fire pellets...

Judging from the release of the Tiger I, I think we'll be able to see it in Singapore in about 6 to 7 months time. Let's hope so, because I have fallen in love with it already...

you mean the new tiger I has proportional control?

Thanks, Calvin. Which LHS can I get it from or do I have to mail-order? It would be better if there's a LHS coz as a newbie to tanks, I'd like to know a bit more info (like upgrades, spares, changing the gun to fire air-powered pellets )...

Yeap, the new Tiger 1 indeed has proportional control in terms of speed. Compared to the older mods which had only 3 forward and 1 reverse, the new mods have 3 fwd and 2 rvs. Something to note is that the modern tanks (M1, Leo 2) seem to have more power fed to the drive motors as compared to the Tiger 1 series, so speed control feels a tad more like an RC toy. The Tiger 1 acts more like a tank, nice smooth turn thx to the newer electronics for the spd control. On the downside, seems like the modern tank series turrets are a tad more accurate in terms of control.

If VS has implemented the Tiger electronics into the upcoming T-72 with the spd that the current modern series has, will be a thing of beauty indeed!

Well, the VSTanks have a local distributor in sg, just head to www.vstank.com and check under local distributors in sg. Thus far i've only managed to scope out 3 shops that have active stock of VS IR, Toy Attic at Serene Centre, Timemachine Studio at Millenia Walk and the shop at Far East Plaza.

If you want to place an order you can just ask em' cos they all get em' from the same distributor. Especially if you want to get the airsoft version. As for spares, you can check toyeast.com online for a list of spares and order through any of the lhs here. Hope this helps, always good to have more tankies

hmm.. so the turning is still non-proportional? I woder if they will come out with direct drive for each track on the tank, then we will get full proportional control!
