Hi, any bros have problems with iPod touch with their car? The 1st time I used it there wasn't any problems. When I use it today, it cannot work. It didn't recognize my iPod touch. It shows my iPod is connected but there are no songs. Later when I unplugged my iPod, my iPod is stuck with the screen showing "accessary connected".
Mine alwaysused it just like Adrianli mentioned, and on those roads in M'sia thats needs lots of overtaking,
but i seldom use the 'manual' + & - shift, most of the time 'sports' mode will enough for me to overtaking.
how is your Forte by now?
any minor or major issue?
I'm finally thinking of changing to either a
KIA Cerato Forte(2011)
1.6SX Auto (9thAug) $91,999
vs
Suzuki SX4(2010) Sedan
1.6 Auto $90,500
Am still considering.
bro, so far so good. no issue on engine or others. but changed one windscreen due to defect (manufacturer fault) - free
petrol is one thing not very good. normal driving without high way is 10km/ 1L.
for the price i paid yr 2010 S$57999 i am happy to have heater on two side mirrors, anti glare rear mirror. 4 reverse sensor. 17" rim.
but now toooooo ex to buy. i rather buy euro 1.4l car like WW.
I just test drove KIA Cereto Forte 1.6L with paddle-shift, 2011 body kit, 17" rims, 6speed transmission etc....all featured-packed swee-swee at $92k, very good deal.
However, I noticed the steering wheel has vibrations transmitted from the engine. Its more noticeable when I rev the engine at higher speed.
On my old Suzuki Liana, the engine is extremely noisy at hi-rev (due to 1.3L only) , but I don't feel the engine vibration on steering wheel that prominently. Likewise I've drove the Latio for a week, don't feel engine vibration on the steering wheel.
Does you steering wheel has vibration too? from the engine.
I'm not sure if this only happens in this car, or , most Forte has this behavior?

not for me, i tried few times when travel to KL high way at 150km/L ok. no vibration.
i only heard from mechanic is when wheel is not align properly or need to wheel balances it will happen above 120km/l.
6speed should be good for fuel
but if me i will wait till year end n see or try hyundai Elentra
