The Hexa

Just done a Hexa and delivered to some one...

Flying weight with one 5000mah 3S is 2.04kg. hovering current about 30A
Expected forward flying or some windy hover about 35 to 40A. Which work out to be each motor around 6A.

I installed d fy20a but it doesn't arm?


I plug in alieron n elevator do I need to plug in the switch n channel 5? There red light but the quad got no response?

Your ruddder and throttle channel goes straight to the Quadboard, bypassing the FY20.... Why shouldn't it arms it ?

Remove the fy20, and go back to normal, see if everything is ok. Then proceed from there again.

did you read the manual? the manual do have very detail instruction.

else I am sure the shop also can advise you how to connect which I am surprise that was not tried else you could have solve it

Here you go:

RX to FY20 (in, using the provided cable) to Quad controller (plug to the FY20 output using the cable from the quad controller)

Ail to Ail, ele to Elev and Rudder to rudder.

If you dont connect the Switch/mode to a channel, it will default to stable mode.

For others, please read two, three or many many times the manual so you understand how the FY20 work. Else please meet us at the field. I cant tell the actual day I will be there but normally we try to be there evening (if permitted every day...)

I bet you did not read the FY manual.

Remove the Jumper from the FY, that is for Delta mode if the jumper is inserted.

after power everything, lower the throttle trim till you can get it arm.

hi Daniel, i read the manual many times & look for help at rc group also regarding fy20a

i did not install the jumper at all pls look at this pix again & you can see the jumper.

i suspect the fy20a is faulty, but before i go back to the shop again. I just need some expert advise. i have not flew the quad since the last crash, i buy this fy20a just to enjoy this hobby better.
