Ever thinking of using helicopter tail rotor to do the job? By using helicopter tail rotor, you can easily match clockwise and couterclockwise rotor. Furthermore, changing tail blade pitch is faster than changing the motor speed.
EDIT: The bad thing is that, using helicopter tail rotor will require more parts to make it work. Just a suggestion/idea
I've thought about just using straight blades to make counter rotating rotors but using straight blades means inferior efficiency when compared to twisted blades.
Also, when you put straight blades on a twin or quad rotor helicopter, still look alright, but if you wanna put them on a twin "engined" fixed wing, then it'll look a little weird.
Plus I'm only wondering lah. Not doing any project. Heeee...
I hear that there's a company called gaupner that sells counter rotating props but they have a limited range and I haven't seen any in Singapore.
China ( Chinese ) wholesale Distributor Exporter Wholesaler supplier Importer Manufacturer of radio control ( RC, R/C, remote control ) Cars, Trucks, Airplanes, Boats, Helicopters, spare parts and accessories.
There are also 10" 2 blade props that's available in both tractor/pusher configurations too.
