comet 500 v2

hello everyone ,
i'm newbie here currently having walkera 35c..
but i'm no longer using it due to several crashes i've made., i had notice from RC-Expert.com...and i'm lookin forward onto comet 500 v2...
does anyone here had this heli..??
need to know whether this heli would be good for beginner...
i really need this info can anybody help..??

i have seen here in china
not a good heli
the heli using 450 power system and its just a little bigger than the 450
they design in such way that you can use 450 spares on a bigger heli
but they forget about the size

all spares on 450 can be use except the tail boom, belt and of course the body..

its better you could check the spares availability in singapore

i may think a raptor e series are good all because of the available of spares..
btw y 500 class you looking for?????

hirobo lama is diffcult to get spares even shs is bringing them in
their spares are also a little higher than the raptor

i dun really know wat to get..??from other threads...they said that mini titan is good heli for both beginner and 3d...
i need more info...

the mint t or trex 450se/v2 is gd..u can set it up to be v stable then setup for agility again when u r ready

for 500 sized.. the trex 500 and the msh protos should be gd options..u 'll have added stability.. but it is not as convenient as a 450, so u'll probably end up not flying it on a daily basis.

450 sized helis are great for quickies.. and gd for squeezing in flights during lunch breaks or weekdays after work. helps u improve alot faster too

and if were to take mini T...i have to upgrade the parts to a better one in order to get into 3d....

The , main problem with the Mini-Titan would be the tracking issue after crashes . Seems to be , the hole in the main rotor hub "ovals" Causing the thing to tilt and causes the problem . So , just get the metal hub and you are good to go

ah... i dont think any 450 sized will ever be as stable as a 500. but it is stable enough if u setup well..

flybar wts will help too until you r ready for acrobatics

i'll advise getting a trex 450se or sev2 or copterxV2(99.99999 trex clone). nothing to upgrade. parts are everywhere

like what helifanatic and some others said, the stock MT will have some probs after a while.. and their blade grips are non standard which can cause tracking problems(this is true even with full metal heads)

parts wise, u can use align's if u cant find copterx ones

btw, there are many many preloved align trex450's in the market place.. some fully setup..

go for the se or sev2 ones, or at least a cde mod to direct servo linkage

have a browse and pm some sellers, u may find a bargain
