I'm just curious if you'll have the same problem as mine.

You may find that for both the new gold Al and CF boom, the OD of the boom is inconsistent and is slightly wider by about 0.3 mm. If you try to fit the boom in the tail gear case and frame that you will not be able to fully close the gaps between the two halves.

I purchase 2 standard lenght CF boom and the XL upgrade kit and I found out that all of the boom have differrent OD.

Sounds like they have a serious case of quality problem!
I will only be trying it this weekend and will let you know if I have similar problems.

How does it fly with the upgrade?

Align has been having problem with QC for soemtime..
Sometimes, u will find missing parts in the package!!
Happened to me once and then also on Zonerx..
His trex had a part missing form the bag!

Will have to make it up to him somehow..

Wah piang .... thats what I hate so far ..... don want happily bring a kit back home and cant complete it ......sigh....

not bad for a raptor tail grips from champion ..got them ages ago to make a FBL head it worked but then I converted it to a H2 and was just sitting around so I put it to good use ..fitted like a glove!! with 2- 5 mm spacers
