Used Ammo's MPX Evo to tune my freq and he turned on his TX
after my rx was on.. no signal loss or watever.. i still retaiend control..
But havn't really tried with a 9CHP on the same freq though..
Results will not be as good as posted on their webby..

btw, how much is that swash bling?

    Adrian,

      Oh Yeah! Opps!
Then u can try to find a Schulze Alpha 835..
Heard that it's a collaboration between berg n schulze..
so it's performance is on par with the berg 6..

Wanted to get a schulze coz of it's glitch counter..
but they don't make it in 72mhz!

U can also try the $145 Sky n Tech synthesized RXs from Jet..
THey seem to boast of the same functions as the bergs..
      except the flywheel holding..
Microheli nut seems to have no problem with it..

I was considering between PCM n Berg 6 too..

          Didn't both about dual-conversion coz it's all hoo-haa..
At least that is wat i believed after i read the Single Conv vs Dual Conv
          article on Berg's website!!

In the end i picked the Berg over the PCM coz of it's ability to
"recognise" the signal from the master TX, which is not
          avaiable in PCM.
Also, the Berg has features such as the flywheel hold on all CHs
and also Fail-safe on all channels..

This is of coz assuming that the skytech has managed to "emulate"
          the Berg very well..

I wouldn't be surprised at all if berg, schulze and S&T receivers are all the same thing. There have been flyers in USA who got them and upon comparison are identical in terms of components and layout.

I don't think you can lose 50 grams just by reaming some large holes onto the frame.

The dremel plan from RCGroups where they at least remove all the non-functional plastic parts only saved about 11 grams. Please see this link for referrence.

Hubdave from RCGroups have created a new 120 CCPM carbon frame for the TREX and claims about 100 grams lighter than the original TREC plastic frames. I think this is the way to go.

                            Hornets out of work ..sorry

I begining to love this t rex ..with the new swash it makes all the difference ..very smooth and controlable.

swaped to the gy240 .... up to 80% gain ..could go hight but no need tail is rock solid!!
also I have played with the tail set up

zap400 tail fins and tail blades ..smaller by a whisker but aslo thinner so less resistance..so far I like what I have feels good and very controlable. now for some serious flying ....

Oh and the 400l motor .......
power to burn!!! did a full pitch climb out ....wow!!!!! too fast to catch very impressed with this little power house!!!
                            I like ..i like !!
                            cheers doug

How much is the swash doug?
think u're rite, the stock swash is not really good..
But it's still good enough to use of coz..
Think i muz start saving for it...

swash was $120 ...errrr ..yeah expensive unfortunatly
but you also have to replace the balls and cut the screws a bit shorter
                                but works very nicely!!
