T Rex mod

what do people think about this T rex mod.

I was playing with some weight distribution so that I could fit the battery in the canopy area and needed some weight on the tail after considering putting weights on the tail this solution struck me from the hornet days.

OK if u have CoG problem. For T-RexX, No tail wagging like what we normally suffer for Hornet II, so not necessary.

correct ..take the ball links out and then replace with shortend screws on the links and one blinged swash

That is a good area to bling it since the stock stuff aint up the job.

Is the bling swash lighter than the stock swash?
Seems that microheli.com has a cnc swash that is lgihter than
the plastic swash!

But i'm just wondering, the stock swash seems ok, is there
really a need to bling it? heh..

I'm getting poor now after one of my 3108s stripped!!

weight about 4-6 g heavier I think. the reason I upgraded was that the origional swash that I have doent look to be fully 90' its out a bit hence the mixing on the alierion stick movement.

for me the weight is not an issue I am not doing any 3d just fig 8 and so onso for now I think its a great improvements the cyclics are crisp and more so in the right direction.

Get the Berg 6! I've one.. pretty good!
And we've tried shooting it down on last sunday after the FF in mac's..
Used Ammo's MPX Evo to tune my freq and he turned on his TX
after my rx was on.. no signal loss or watever.. i still retaiend control..
But havn't really tried with a 9CHP on the same freq though..
Results will not be as good as posted on their webby..

btw, how much is that swash bling?

the hs55 n 50 got some centering problems..

Trade off

Great mod. Really resemable Hornet design. However, this will

seriously increase the moment of inertia about the rotating axis.

i.e. slow in response when pyro & inertia will cause overswing

when rudder input is terminated. On another hand, due to its

great moment of inertia, extremely stable in hovering. i.e. tail will

hardly wag... 3D or basic flight u decide...
