Hey Johndyl, you encounter those split sec glitch on rudder before?
The 2100 is so light & compact I'm worried its the vibration.Thinking of using CF tail blades... Suspect its still causing vibration even after balancing.
ah.. i dont practise balancing the tail blades :P though it is preached..

the split sec glitch think it happens sometimes. it is more due to setup..

u can try a few things
    1. extra layer of gyro tape
    2. play with the rotate rate on the gyro
    3. digital servo
    4. reduce slop in the tail assemby, at the same time making sure there is no binding
    5. shorten the tail servo linkage rod
    6. spray lots and lots of lube on the moving parts so that they move silky smooth

I've encountered once where the vibration caused by tail blades it keeps screwing up my heli's flight. Quite particular about it now lol. Once biten twice shy. I'm very shy now lol.
1.I've ran out of gyro tape so am using those cheapo soft type found in hardware store. Already using double layer, triple layer may backfire and cause more vibration cause it'll be like too tall up???
2.Gyro rate set at lowest, any higher the piro will make my shit spill.
      3.On the way.
4.Dont see any binding. Belt not to tight and not to loose.
5.Servo horn you mean? Quite short le.
      6.Will do so

        1. think mine is 3 layers? plus some CA inbetween layers
        2. ah... for me i set 2nd lowest and use the rudder EPA to reduce the piro rate
        5. no... i meant, if u try to "twist" the tail blades while not moving the rudder.. and see if there is any movement.(not too hard ok)
        any movement is consider slop

lastly, consider shortening the rod.. most bend

btw are u using this on the belt or MT? the stock MT tail has some design issues the last time i molested one and cant use the full travel on the tail shaft

broe HotDogBun, i think im beginning to see that head right thingy u mentioned. But its not during punch up or down, but by just hold steady hover on chest level i can see the heli very slowly drift head right. This is true when I apply some normal cyclics to hold hover in one spot.

Now im using stock tail case with alu tail blade grip+cf tail+modified link to both grips to give more travel on the shaft with no bindings, and the head right drift is not quite noticeable only have to apply little rudder input to correct.

I don't mind a little rudder correction but is it normal when we hold hover on one spot, rudder correction is a must? Or just let our good gyro handle the hh? Or broes using this lt2100, please help to advise how to eliminate this right head drift? If I move the servo to compensate the right head drift, tail will no longer holds strong. Im using gov mode 0,80,80,80,80 0,90,90,90,90. There's virtually no vibrations during hover...

                juz sum comments abt the head right drift;

i tried 2 to 3 layers but no luck. then i change from the stock logitech tape to a single green/black 3m it improves abit.

then i move the gyro nearer to the main shaft and it improves further though there's still abit of head right drift. izit true theres lesser vibrations near the main shaft?

nazar, yesterday i observed that ur hs drops alot on punch up.. i suspect either ur gov is not working properly or it is not in gov mode..

it could be also the motor is too weak and has insufficient torque.. which i think is likely the case.. since it is a esky high KV motor

                      hi broe, tankz for replyin.

i already on the gov using hw prog card (i previously tot it was on by default). yesterday was 0,80,80,80,80. idle up is, 90,90,90,90,90 but during i punch yesterday wasn't in idleup. hand trembling to flip the switch especially u standing beside keke. ya i think so too that elf hobby 4200kv motor is weak. i'll consider a new motor soon. but now im still solving this stupid head right drift while tail in...

                            Guys, me need advice.
I can't seem to get my 9257 to work with 2100T. The symtom is when I move the rudder stick, there is a very obvious delay in the servo movement.
                            - adjusted to Digital servo type.
                            - set rotation rate to highest.
                            - adjusted both end points.
                            - max out TX end point for servo before setup.
Is it 9257 is not compartible with 2100T or I missed a setting?

i think thats normal. Happens on mine too but doesnt affect in flight

I can't imagine what the delay will be like if its the same in air and on ground The delay is really obvious. Is yours obvious????
