Metal grip? thats $$$ guess someone's got a fat bonus?

Sorry about the high end needle I don't really know the engine well. I know know there are 2 screws, one is the low end which decides the idling and the other which you mentioned 1.5 to 1.25 turn.... right???

Forgot to mention I'm using 3M spong ... supposed to be good. But the sticker still stuck and the spong came off, think maybe the spong too hard.

hey there're few types of 3M sticky spong .. some of which are not suitable as gyro tape .. im not really sure which are the suitable one .. im using the one that came with the gyro

Looks like I have bought the thin and hard type.
Anyway really good response from JRG770T. Can feel the heli snapping to a stop sharp and crisp, feel is alot better than 401 though the price is the same. Too bad I'm using cheapo plastic tail blades, else the experience would have been alot better.

CKS, what size tail blades would you recommend for rappy50? I'm using JRG770T.

                      Hi HDB

from my experience with JR770T on my trex 500 and 600N, they dun like too large tail blades. had some issues with 95mm carbon on my 600N and went back to 92mm stock plastic which i modded by cutting away about 5mm off each tip.

i think cause the Gyro alone too powerful already then if mechanical gain too high, the gyro gain will have to set very low. which ends up with bounce backs when flying.

anw that was from my use of JR770, different heli's mileage may vary.

                      good luck!

I went Rotor to hunt for tail blades. Asked the uncle which he would recommend and he mentioned he's using 95mm length 30mm width... so what the heck just give it a try and still my tail fin already is the Align one which is longer than TT stock, so all the more

I hope my tail can tahan 95mm, cause since I love lower headspeed, maybe the tail blades won't be too powerful

shouldnt be too big of an issue ..
i chipped off the tailblades even on 92mm few times already .. so dont think i wanna go anywhere beyond that

If u want powerful tail authority and low main rotor RPM, but cannot go bigger blades because it hit the ground on inline boom heli, there are a few alternative u can go:
                              1. Use higher tail pulley ratio (Tail spin faster)
                              2. Use wider chord tail blades. U can use bigger, longer blades but cut off the excess length.
                              3. Go Elevated tail
                              4. Go 4 bladed tail rotor.

Tried 95mm, rudder stops hard as a rock. The only problem I'm having now is when in forward flight and making right rudder, my tail will waver, just like Alan Szabo doing the crabbing thing Turning left during forward flight is ok.

Edmond got this problem before on his 90 size and he solved it by using cable tie over the gyro.

Am going to try this on my JrG770T. Hope it solves my problem too.
