If you just want to add a few lights to your heli, you can try this website.

No soldering needed, just a connector, 2 LED and 2 resistor. Just click play on the website and an animinated clip will show you exactly how to DIY the lights.

Was there last week, completely no stock for the Alu ones. Even the 12mm steel pipes are very low in stock.

I have spoken with the stock keeper and I think they might have new shipment in a couple of weeks but they can't confirm. If the stock comes it and I happen to know, I will post here.

Just called Diaso to check.

Both 12mm and 14 mm Alu pipes still no stock and not sure when coming. However, they told me there are few pieces of 8mm and 10mm Alu pipes left.

Trex Wooden blades @$8/- (in PRC)

Hi all,

Cheapo wooden blades for newbie training

Just to share a source of getting cheap wood blades which I recently got from PRC. Not sure if they are available locally but these blades looks the same as the white Trex stock blades which comes with the initial kit.

The blades are from Himodel and it cost RMB40 (about S$8/-) per pair. However, you will have to get them at PRC.

Blades are softer and lighter then Prowood and may not be sutable for 3D flight. I have tried them for normal hovering and forward flights and in my opinion, these blades are cheap and good for training and crashing.

Blades comes quite well balanced and tracking is good.

Here are the photos:

There are several length from 315, 325 and 335 (not sure if still in stock). I have choosen 325. The brand indicated on the packing is HAWK and the blades come laminated as seen below.


Weights alot lighter then Prowood blades but are also softer and less firm







Please do not ask me to get these blades as I do not have direct access to them. For those who travel there alot, it will be good to grap a bundle home.

Perhaps some LHS with PRC contacts could consider bringing them in if landed cost are not high.
