x442s on 6sx2

My experience with twin setup, the boat prefers higher rpm rather than bigger prop. I am running 1800kv motor with 4S and X442 props in my 30" Cat. Initial torque is good but top speed is no good. I ran on 5S and wooohoooo. Thatz more like it.

The starboard side esc just stopped working three weeks ago. I suspect it is caused by the motor, cos I tried to run the motor with another esc, the esc went hot and motor wont run. So now will change out both motor and esc.

For ur motor, I recommend run on 6S with the X442 props. U will love the speed.

i do have a couple of 3s lipos. thanks for the tip i will keep that in view.

do you lay the external hull fully CF?you might be having problem clocking the speed with handheld gps as the gps signal will be weak, just like mine.

The whole boat is CF and I did reinforce CF cloth internal. Can i use eagle tree to clock speed then?

Yes I think so as I don't have one so can't give you any answer anyhow just try it then.

I've just run my drifter M with 2x toppower 4082 1600kv, 2x 120a esc, 2x 6s 30c 5000mah and CR 442's prop...manage to GPS at 99.9km/h which is my fastest record ever
