Oh I forgot to ask you, are you running 8s using T-180 esc?you might wanna consider getting hv esc instead. T-180 can handle up to 6s only bro. Bro post the build here for both of your projects, this should be interesting

i be running 2 T180, 2 T600, twin stingers and 2 flex cable/wire drives.Warpath Wong

My experience with twin setup, the boat prefers higher rpm rather than bigger prop. I am running 1800kv motor with 4S and X442 props in my 30" Cat. Initial torque is good but top speed is no good. I ran on 5S and wooohoooo. Thatz more like it.
The starboard side esc just stopped working three weeks ago. I suspect it is caused by the motor, cos I tried to run the motor with another esc, the esc went hot and motor wont run. So now will change out both motor and esc.
For ur motor, I recommend run on 6S with the X442 props. U will love the speed.
