want to ask the brothers here which tx lipo sold by Jethobby works for the Hitec Optic 6?

I ask the uncle, he only shake head and say next time bring along my tx to plug and try.

There is futaba type and there is jr/spectrum type plugs.

                  What works?

I'm using a DN 2000mah TX Lipo on my 9C and full charge shows 12.4V too.

Drops voltage quite quickly to 11.XX...normallly I charge when its arnd 11.2V which I would charge back 1000mah.

                    Similar for urs?

I so silly, bought one from overseas for quite a bit of moolah. But it's 2200mah so I suppose it lasts longer

It seems to stay at 11.3v forever! But once it dips and goes down to 10v, it will quickly drop to 9v and shut off...

So I think same concept for our lipo batts, once it goes down to 3.7v per cell (which is 11.1v total), just charge it up again

For those of you using the Hitec Optic 6.

The DN Power Lipo Tx batt from JetHobby works. The batt fits inside the batt compartment, the connector plugs straight in.

Use the white connector, check the polarity before plugging in.

For me, as an extra caution, when TX not in use, to unplug lipo batt and store elsewhere. Also, since it's a lipo batt, charge only with lipo charger. safety first

                          Hi,

I recharged when Voltage drop to ~11.1 to 11.3V for my 2000mah TX lipo. I put back around ~1300 to 1400 mah.

Ok serious now, how do you guys know you put back how many mahs eh??? I'm using the IMAX B5 charger. Maybe I didn't notice something, or are you putting it through a wattmeter after that to test?

                              Hi there,

I am using a B5 too.. just look at the LCD screen bottom right .. the 4 number in mah is what you put back after the batt is fully charged..

                                Heh thanks Jon

I guess the numbers are pretty ok.. I think there might be a big difference between charging at 11.3V and 11.1V, cos mine really stays at 11.3V forever. I suspect if we charge when it dips to 11.1V, we'll see that we're putting in back a large percentage of the charge - maybe 1500mah out of 2000mah, which is like 75%. The other 25% (500mah), I guess probably leave it for those who like to dip their batts below 3.7V

Of course note that I'm just throwing out numbers without much electronics knowledge, and figures are based on our B5 and TX readings which are already not very accurate to start off with
