in theory for example the VIP on mega 16/15/3 on apc 4.75x4.75 on Flightpower 25C 1800-3S is 200km/hr level flight. We have a radar gun but so far no one is crazy enough to stand in the path of the pylons to measure the speed

I don't think VIP is available in LHS anymore.

I have 2 friends who have VIP but they felt that when compared to another pylon "Sokol", the sokol looks more fierce, is faster than VIP on same setup and the sokol has that whistling sound and the price is also very reasonable. I do have stock for sokol if you are keen

Would love to own the Sokol, but having a little cash flow problem...bought a few planes last month and just got another one recently. I'm now scartch building the Slipso 400, hopefully I can finish it in time for BBFC's pylon race.

Yep, I need to cut myself a new pair of wing cores too. My brushless outfit cannot be fitted into my current plane. You can pay me a visit while I do my hotwire cutting tomorrow evening.
