Yo Ben, the answer to yr question is an unfortunate yes. there's little control in dh. In other forums, a member must have at least 50 posts before the right to the buy/sell section is granted. the purpose is prob to reduce bogus buyers/sellers albeit to limited success. anyway, caveat emptor (may the buyer beware) still holds. I am however very concerned on the issue of newbies buying big helis that may not be flight worthy. One accident is all it takes to destroy this wonderful locally.

very true fact indeed. not everyone has integrity on the declarations they state when selling.maybe in the near future there will be rc flying licence..people then must show they can do figure 8 on heli before they can get a licence for rc heli flying..to make sure everyone observes safety and take precaution..well we will have to wait and see if the hobby last long in Singapore..
