Reply to Scratch building my new slope wingby joe yapLead shots glued into the nose and another lead trim sheet are needed to bring the balance to the correct CG. The nose of the fuselage just needs to house the receiver, small 2S lipo and a voltage regulator. The ship now tips at 568 grams total....

Reply to Scratch building my new slope wingby joe yapSpent some time rigging up the elevons. I made the control horns from G10 fibreglass sheet. Elevons uses a pair of KST DS225MG servos with top drive system. The servo wells are temporarily covered with clear PVC sheets.

I coated the fuselage with 2-part polyurethane lacquer to add shine and protect the paint. The wing joint is reinforced with UD carbon and glass.
