The air smells terrible, can't see shit when flying...not good at all...plus I am not even sure what all those particles in the air will do to the motors spinning at such high RPMs.

Most handle flawlessly, eliminating all shakes and jello from videos without the need to go thru time consuming post production.

my little f450 quad don't see be able to meet the 1.6Kg take off weight with all the necessary gears...

anyone flying dji f450 with around 2.2Kg take off weight?


or do i really have to take it on a diet?

Its all in the controller board. There are 2 key ones Martinez and alexmos. Both work well - Martinez is open source where alexm is closed. both required tuning based on weight of actioncams and calibrating the sensor. Alex is more straight forward. If you r not fussy...they both work outn of the box..at least for the ones we tried.

That's kinda heavy bro. My f450 with all gears + gopro + 460/3200mah 3S is just around 1400g.

measured just now....

DJI F450 with short landing skid 975g
Propellors 55g
3S 4000mah Lipo 335g

Haven't add any gears yet already 1365g
it's a fat chick... :P

need to swap out the short landing skids to taller skids so that the gopro can be mounted below with a simple low cost gimbal...
plus other gears.... briefly added up to around 2.1kg....

do you guys use light weight Lipos?
is my lipo too heavy or normal?
