blackkite n ed i need confirmation is the race on punggol or bedok . cause there a confuse on it the yahoo sailing group say pp. some sailor say bedok so can some one pls comfirm the venue.tks

I was at BR this morning.......... sun was out, wind was gusty and water was rough. At 1 stage, my MM was drifting further and further out even with full rudder!

That is because when the boat is keeled, the rudder is no longer a rudder but an elevator. In order to turn, you have to open the sails and upright the boat then when the rudder is vertically underwater if becomes effective again. Turn away from the wind.

The boat was upright and I was heading into the wind. I think the sails were opened too.
