those tanks u talking about, do they shoot some kind of plastic ball bearing,..or some called it smart tank or something?
these are 1/72 IR controlled tanks with IR battling system(the tank shoots InfraRed light beam. the tank that got hit will react by moving erractically)
i bought them because its small, cute and most importantly does not burn a big hole in my wallet .
these tanks have great details similar to the real thing. u can put them on display if you are not playing.
of course you can't compare them with the hobby grade tamiya 1/16 tanks.
anyway, my tabletop battlefield consist of a few inverted plastic plates and coffee mugs to simulate hills and buildings.
let the fun begin.....achtung panzer.....attack!!!

I think it was like 20 some yrs ago I saw this Tamiya Tiger tank, not sure what the size was but really impressive,..the "old school" design..lost of gears,..I think 4 ch,..dont know if that particular model still around and how much have changed since...
i got bored running the tanks on the flat ground. so i decided to make my own Battle Hill.......maybe i might build a bridge to go with it..... but then i have to wait for mr boredom to visit again...

Nice battlefield you have here bro I'm waiting the arrival of a Tamiya 1/16 King Tiger with the necessary rc components from HK. This will be my second 1/16 tanks with a HL Tiger 1 being the first.
Basically, I'm a 1/35 Tamiya tanks freak Since I've time on my hand, might as well go into rc tank.
these miniatures were made over the pass few weekends, having them around would create a more exciting tank urban battle...maybe still need to add a few soldiers...
