Came across this site quite some time back, but didn't think too much about it initially because it looks quite complicated. But now...maybe I'll order the system from him. Looks cheap enough to give a try, but I think I may have problem soldering the components...

Thanks bro! I was initially hesitating becasue some of the assembling looks complicating, espeically when installing the sound chip. I'm more of a mechanical guy, never a electronic guy...

anyway, I've already emailed David to enquire about his shipping charges to singapore. Will keep you update.

US$75 for the battle circuit, the battle unit (the R2D2) and the sound chip. Shipping to Singapore is US$20.

David did mentioned that his server will be down for a few days after Christmas. Anyway, I've already saved his instructions and pictures in my computer.

You have problem installing the circuits? I am currently installing one for a friend's PZIII and it shld be read by this sunday.

Anyway do take note that teh sound chip does not come with a pre recorded 'hit' and 'death' sound. When I pluged in teh speaker and power I got some guitar playing when I tested the 'hit' and 'death' sounds.

you can either use his audio clips in his website or get the soun for teh PZIII from el mods website. I used the hit form darkith and teh detah from El mod's. Hope to see your tank ready for battle with us tam tanks this sun then.

Btw left teh tank recoil as it is coz I do not want to lose one sond effect as you will need to sacrfice one sound slot for the gun firing if you chose to turn off the recoil.

I have completed the DBU, DBC and sound chip system for the PZIII, if you need any help feel free to ask away. Its actually very easy, teh only mistake I made was to put one led the wrong way and thus it did not light up, after that I flipped it and it was working well.

after reading thru the thread, i'm also interested in installing the IR unit into my PZIII.

but will it sacific the shooting BB system and how much will its coat to do that?

The BB firing can be retained even if you install this circuit. I think Dave is selling it for ard USD$90 with sound chip, need to e-mail him about it, but he told me he is currently out of stock for both DBU and DBC. So I think you will need to wait.

As for currently DBU and DBC's on hand, my club president have a few but he is intending to install them on some HL tanks he has, maybe you can pm me your contact and see if we can let go one unit to you.
