Changes Mode 1 to Mode 2

Has anyone changed their mode for Jr9xv2 before?
Is it easy to swap the spring?

    Thanks.

Very easy. You can also bring it to rotor. They can help you change it (not sure if they charge you).

Thanks ChRiS. But Artyspec modification was done on Futaba Tx and not on JR. Wonder how much would be the difference!

Got it changed last night. Have started to re-learn the sticks in mode 2 again after flying for about 2 years in mode 1. Manage to get my plane hover again in my simulator after 3 hours of hard practise.

Just wonder who had started with mode 1??? A bad choice to start with if you want to do precise 3D manoeuvres with ease.

By the way both mode 1 & 2 could allow you to do 3D, but if you notice carefully, mode 2 sticks movement would be much simpler and easier to achieve certain 3D stunts, applied same for both heli & airplane in 3D.

                  Hi Simys

I not sure in Mode 2 is precise or not but one thing I can do with Mode 2 is flying and digging my nose at the same time (Though I haven't really try it). Occationally I did like hover and scratch my head or hand or adjusting cap while the other hand flying.

After you change the tensioner you need to go into device select menu (holding "ENT" while turning on the power) and you will see in there a menu option called "STICK MOD" in which you can select the stick mode.
