As i mentined earlier, there's no reason to use a cordless, batt operated dremel, unless u frequently use it outside with no elect socket. A corded Dremel with lots of torque and speed is better.

quite agree, however, i need something that can fit the add-ons like the drill-press, etc. Any info on where I can get a dremel is also much appreciated ...

I bought mine at a very old shop in chinatown , upstairs of famous "Yong Tau Foo".For around $120 it comes in a very nice professional hardcase and free 2 mendrels complete set of basic attachments. It's "Made in Mexico" n feels like a professional tool!

"Homely" near ubi tech park, also sell a lastest edition of Dremel with flexi-shaft and various attachments.

After all is said and done, I still cannot find any info on where to buy the cordless lion dremel from the thread. Anyone care to shed some light?
The latest lion cordless dremel can go up to 35k rpm and variable speed if I remember corrrecty.
Anyone knows aof any place in singapore selling it? Thank you.
