those dremel with better qualitity would have a more powerful, variable motor control if i am not wrong. maybe the B&D is using brushless thats y it is so expensive
Just Get a real Dremel, you wont regret it! There's one call "hobbytech??" or "modeltech??!" and its more expensive n feels like a toy!
I bought mine at a very old shop in chinatown , upstairs of famous "Yong Tau Foo".For around $120 it comes in a very nice professional hardcase and free 2 mendrels complete set of basic attachments. It's "Made in Mexico" n feels like a professional tool!
"Homely" near ubi tech park, also sell a lastest edition of Dremel with flexi-shaft and various attachments.
Ok, dun wanna bored u guys further, PM me if you wanna know more, i can guide u with where to find all sorts of bits/ attachments and parts at a good price.
P.s: I've no link to that Chinatown shop or whatsoever shop or Brand!

For simple jobs, i can do it for you. Actually, i enjoy working on a dremel, i feel lots of "raw power" on my hand- like holding to a brushless motor on full stick!!!. The more you discover what it can do, the more you love it!

HZM, any info on the price and availability of the milling machine?
Any particular reason for cordless and very high rpm?u need the Dremel tool on mobile? Corded Dremel is still better for higher efficiency and higher torque.
Mine is the earlier plain version of dremel and it's already very high torque n speed, n i seldom use above 3/4throttle.
Take a look at the spec of the new dremel:#395VW Variable-Speed MultiPro® Tool
SPECIFICATIONS
Tool Weight..............18 oz.
Speeds.....................Variable (10,000-37,000 rpm)
Volts...........................240 AC, 50-60 Hz
Amps.........................1.15
Warranty....................5 years
Yor ur info: Cordless can only go up to 25krpm, corded ones can go up to 36krpm!
Hope it helps!

If i'm not mistaken, are u looking for tools to make threads?
It's call "Tap and die" set- comes in 2 types- metrics and imperial. Carbine material if u need good tolerence and long-lasting, else choose china type.
u can find in NTC, Kaichain-shop L3 SLT, or any good hardware shops.
