Had a little trouble soldering... the plastic kept melting before the metal contact get heated enough to "absorb" the solder. Finally did get it soldered...
But got the wires wrong way round... good thing I used Futaba plug instead of Hitec Plug, so now just need ignore the red and black wires, since my red is -ve and black is +ve...
I plug in 8x 2100... going to see how long it last...
hopefully more than 2 hours.huh

Hi AirTrekker
Yup.. The connector is the same with Futaba or Hitec. For me, I use those CDROM audio cable instead. Need small modification also.
BTW... I would recommend you to get brand new AA battery instead. I guess the battery offer at the yahoo auction is don't know how many hands. The battery may not hole storage high enough already

Hi Super-Hornet, thanks for the tip.
The guy claims the batterys are new. Here is the link to the auction. I checked and EastGear.com is selling the same thing for $17. Not sure how much Mustaffa is selling the stuff for.

Just adding a feedback...
I used 8 pieces GP2100...
used my Tx for 5.5 hours... (as marked by the timer)
Batt voltage was at 9.9V... Batt only slightly more than half drained. (charge 1000+)
That is comparing to my original Nicad, 2 hours must pump in 400mA+, voltage at 9.6V... (700mAh)
Conculsion: yup.. I am a happy man.huh
