You want to learn kitesurf, the nearest is at Kuantan. A local (Malaysian) kitesurfer has a small setup there next to SwissGarden Hotel conducting Kitesurf course. I was there in June and there are a few Singaporean taking lesson from him. A nice guy.

If you need contact let me know.

5 hours drive only...NE from December onwards will be the best time in Kuantan, you will get lift up like no body business. Good and cheap food, good wind...man can't wait to go back there.

I did my course many years ago in Thailand...bloody costly.

Which part of Tampines? The field next to Sun Plaza?

Cheo me leh if got flying.

Buggy is hand carried back from UK. 25kg. If ship back will be very costly. You guys can always try mine before deciding whether to get one. I'm running a Flexifoil buggy.

Want to see my pics (taken few years ago at Tuas):

Post all pictures and videos here. Alternatively, you can upload pictures and videos at the Photo Gallery.

Wind typically kick in after 12pm and peak in the early afternoon, and die down in the later afternoon.

Usually I'll hit the field around 1pm and pack up around 5pm.

You can check the site http:\\www.ulfp.com for Wind condition.

Will try to drop by the field on Sunday in the afternoon.

Think will drop the idea for a monent

Pansh 4.5m at tampines cd field or power station. Still looking for location of more constant wind. Will try to avoid the beach.. too much sand
Wanna learn cannot be lazy...... Just drive to PA East Coast. There's a shop there selling kitesurfing gear. Think they offer training. I went there before.

You need waterproof kite, maybe one with inflatable ribs so that it does not collapse in a pile of heap in water, which makes relaunching literally impossible.

Think NAISH makes some nice kites for kitesurfing. Be prepared to pay. Else you convince PANSH to make one. Hahahahahaha..........
For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.
