demoralize now... I ran (literally) down to bishan park after seeing the trees sway like there's no tomorrow.

Set up my kites super fast, the wind is still very strong. Lines become tangled... alamak, spent 10 mins to untangle them. Brought my kite up for 30s, then the wind die down. Stand like a fool for 20 mins in the field, before i surrender go home.

Pack my lines and kite liao then the wind comes back.

At least I managed to fly for 30mins before the wind died down the last time I went there. Agree it's pretty frustrating.

It takes a bit longer to set up, but I prefer to wind my lines separately after removing them from the kite. At least I don't have to worry about tangling my lines.

Were at ECP, inline skating with family yesterday..
when we reached there at ard 10.. saw this guy surfing with his kite.. and at ard 12 when we were going back.. this guy still surfing...
talk about stamina.. phew..

Ok, if he can kite surf there.. that means there's gotta be enough wind for us to kite too !!

The problem for us is that got wind means will rain. For surfkites, water is not a problem.

Yup. Its leading edge is inflatable so that it won't sink like a stone when wet.

Ok. Get ready at least $2000. And that's just for the kite and board. Not yet calculate lines, harness etc.
