need advise for legal help

okay this is what happened:

i took a packet of chicken rice chilli and wanted to threw at someone's back. he suddenly turned around and the packet of chilli hit his face and got into his eyes. den he punched me several times and den stepped on my specs. i didnt retaliate.

now i wan to sue him for compensation. wad is the success rate and ard how much will i receive?

the packet of chilli that i threw at him can be considered inflicting harm to another person. this is what the police said.
pls help

Me agree too. It irks me to think of you flying a raptor, not sure if you are "grown" enough to handle that kind of responsibilty... Chilli throwing?!?! lol, I mean what wtf is that? You sounded like a whiner suing for revenge when you started the very thing itself. Dun provoke.

THe advice from the police is useless. If you want to take any action, u have to go to a doctor to verify your bruises from the punch. Than u make police report, than u go to magistrate to take out a private summon against that guy.

If u succeed in your suit u may get a small compensation, meanwhile u pay your lawyer $5000.00

I dont think it is of any use for u to find a lawyer now just to get back ur specs n medical cost. Unless money to u is no problem n pride is more important.


I dont understand why u didnt hit him back when he punched u? If u dare to throw the chili, u r in the wrong liao and must be prepared for a fight. If u cant punch him, at least have a swing at his testicles with ur leg and see him pain like hell. Although its a low blow but as the chinese saying goes, No Matter Black Cat or White Cat, Able To Catch Rat Is A Good Cat!!!


But now u can look think back of what u should have done at that moment. Forget abt it n move on. Take it as a lesson learnt.
