To isolate the problem, I suggest that you connect your Throttle (RX) directly to the ESC --> motor.

Try throttle up slowly (TX) and observed the behaviour of the motor. Remove the prop and tape a masking tape on the spindle to help your visual observation.

Can normal hobbywing escs be used? Im thinking of changing the ESCs to trouble shoot first...
mind sharing what ESC you are using? Just want to make sure you are choosing the correct file in the AVR programmer.

My naza used to cogged like that when I was using the original DJI 30A ESC with HK NTM 28xx motor. What motor are u using btw?
