Adrian, vuzix is right the meet out / FF was designed so everyone new and old can meetup.

I cant tell if your new on RC but if main issue is orientation try to do it in simulator like phoenix (got gaui 330x), practice until next meeting. If some settings then better see you their in the field. I think experts will be there to help newbies like us.

Hi All! Just got myself the T580

Hi Everyone! Got myself a T580. Seems that it has a chequered history with the FOD or Flip of Death according to the RCgroups threads and alishanmao youtube videos. I decided to mod my T580 so as to reduce the chances of it flipping on me.

Attached are photos of my modded T580.

I have changed the default pointy nuts to lock nuts, washers and spring washers. Wrapped foam over the barometer to nullify the effects of prop wash. attached heat sinks to the FETs on the ESC boards. Drilled ventilation holes around shell near the ESCs to facilitate ventilation and heat dissipation. So far only managed to hover around my living room. Weather really sucks for flying.

Yep, I live at AMK most of my life. Cool you have a T580! How did your T580 perform? Are you satisfied with it?
