Take it easy.. like I said.. this is a journey.. lost a model can always buy one. We just hope no injury from it and that is a big plus.. try to look at it from the bright side.

Hey bro, sorry to hear about your loss. Hope it doesn't put you off flying. It's hard to lose a model, I know. But at least you do not have a broken model (total loss) in your hands to throw in the rubbish bin. I had experienced a lost airplane and a broken one. It's much harder to throw away a broken model. If you still keen to fly, save up and get another one. Silver and DT have generously offered you their help in getting a new quad at a good price. You cant get that kind of support from any LHS or any other hobby.

is there a failsafe system that will input a throttle cut, neutral controls when the system lose signal?

i remember watching some youtube clip that some guys put gps sensors n controls to let the quad hover in a set location. *it would still drift a couple of metres left, right, up down. but generally, it stays put.

Bro, I also started Heli flying a few months ago. That's why i'm missing from the car racing scene. Don't give up on helis, it's very rewarding when you fly a CP Heli. Took me a long time to learn but the feeling is great, better than racing.

Err no more Heli or me at for now, my wife was dramatized by the event n everything I look at the sky I think of my quad. The cost of losing it is too much.

Even if I come back I will build my own frame. But won't be soon as I am busy already with my baby coming early nxt year
