The concept of Innovator is good, provided what's on the heli is what they claim.. Cannot say it's too expensive lah.. comparing that with the Hirobo SRB Quark.. $900 is a reasonable price to pay for a heli with the kind of feature the manufacturer claim it have.

Guess. Innovator to TT is just the beginning of a strategy leading to much greater things. Hence, they're targeting a different market segment lah..

Yeah, I would think Innovator is an attractive bird for beginer who know nothing much about heli, instead of buying China made cheap-cheap-never-last to start off...importance thing is it must be reasonably priced. 20% below SRB should be good

As said by tucfaz, i fully agree that the innovator is a small step in TT's plot.
I see huge potential in the electronics platform, and the whole idea of the system.

The innovator series you see now is just to prove that the concept works, whether it actually is a hit for TT, i don't see that as the main goal.

If TT markets the system on a larger scale, it would open a whole new era in user-friendly UAV platforms.

Bro, look at above component, I sure pick Mini-t (I am in between old bird and beginner..hahaha). Cannot compare lah.. In terms of material & quality..

For me. I'll go with your mention setup.. which is Mini-T.. But I'm not the kind of hobbyist TT want to sell to. There's much bigger market out there that TT will want to target. People like us here are only the tip of the iceberg..

If they came out the first at that price, I think they "MayBe" able to win the market for a little while.

Just like few years back when someone come out with Fix Pitch Heli...with quote at around S$500(or maybe higher if not wrong), and later we see HoneyBee, Dragonfly..HambleBee...all over the place..

May be we can see "Cooper Y" for this....wait a little..

but pushing the heli away and the last part of what they call landing is very scarely.
