All electronics built-in. Even installed with MD530 liao....
I think rotor will bring in..if price is right, me sure get one....
The Innovator could be some thing all Scale flyer been waiting for, "Low Head Speed" . it can simulate the real heli better. Compare to our 450 size heli of HS 2000 to 2700 rpm, the UH Huay head speed is only 324 rpm and Super Puma is 200 Plus..
hope the Innovator is design to fly at some thing below 1000rpm
The Innovator MD530 looks nice. I wonder whether can flip to CCW rotation or not?
According to the spec:
Tail spin at 4.95x over main. That ratio should be able to hold the tail on running low RPM. but the weight is 680grams. Since it is 2 bladed heli, I not sure how low can their RPM goes in order for the 2 bladed heli to lift 680grams?
For the TRex250, by the look on the drawing, it appeared that the rotor head is exact copy from TRex head. Lets just hope the stability is much better than Zap100...and hope RPM is not that high.
BATTERY PACK
Innovator adopts a 3cells Li-Po battery packaged with super thin and light plastic hard case. Every battery pack has a ***exclusive ID corresponding to Innovator helicopter. A valid ID is required to start the helicopter.
What they did that I believe is because the battery now include a over/under voltage protection. It is similar to mobilephone battery. When battery goes low, it will cut off the battery in order to prevent battery from being damage when running too low voltage.
Another reason is to force user to buy ONLY their battery. Remember printer inkject ink? Like that, they can earn those consumable items like battery.
The mention of printer made me angry. My MFC Brother printer refuse to function cos it ran out of yellow ink!!! Cannot use monochrome only, cannot scan, cannot copy and cannot fax!!!
My previous MFC HP also like that but at least can print in monochrome.
Me using Epson with 6 ink cartridges. one gone still able to print....but if continue, you will burnt the print head that cost $200...so you have no choice to buy ink.. Buy 1 cartridge cost $24. if to get 6 ink cartridges, 6 x $24 = $144...new printer with complete set of new ink only cost $200...so how?
Back to heli topic. I guess the Innovator Heli cost:
From the plastic quality shown in photos, I think the cost will NOT higher then $500. However, if just the battery alone. I think at least $100 or above.
