                    Thank you for the pics. Appreciate it! The rotor head seems to be quite similar to the hurricane. Wonder can we use hurricane parts for the G-Smart?

                        Nope ! .....dunno why so OT aredi ! ....SORRY everybody ! ....back to the G-Smart !

                        Saw it yesterday ! ....same size as the Hurricane (abit taller) .....really nice looking heli ! (about a 30 nitro size) with a lot of modern design.

                        Notes
                        * The cyclics are 120* ECCPM and they direct links from swashplate to servo horns (aka Trex 450 SE style)
                        * Canopy material is similar to TT Rappy canopy i.e: Shampoo bottle type (Thank god ! ....they didn't use the crappy material from the HB or Belt CP canopy)
                        * The head assembly looks good, there is a provision hole on top for you to add a button head.
                        * The engine reminds me of my 1/10 on-road racing days ! .....They provide a 18 size SH engine (Looks tiny in the heli )
                        * Rudder servo is mounted on the Tail boom (Modern design ! )
                        * Standard size servos required

                        Will try my best to catch Uncle Lim's maiden flight ....and see what this bird can do with the 18 sizer nitro

                        Overall I feel this is the heli to go for if you're looking for a begineer's nitro bird ....certainly the value for money factor is a perfect 10 !

                        Now Sky hobby can offer an Electric (Hurricane) or a Nitro (G-Smart) heli in the 500-550 blade length size ! ....different strokes for different brokes !
                        Seriously running out of ...Storage space !

                            The Canopy states 3D. Do you all think this heli is 3D capable?

                              The design of the heli certainly scream 3D ! ....if you look at the tail boom attachment, you'll notice that they have an "increased" space between the boom and main blades. You'll really have to try very hard in order to get a boom strike while flying (or landing ! )
                              The weight of the heli is also noteworthy, I had the opportunity to heave both the Hurricane and the G-Smart together and it certainly felt like the G-Smart is lighter (even thou the electronics were not in yet)
                              I think the point would be "IF" the G-Smart can 3D with the power from the 18 sizer nitro .....I drool, just thinking of shoe horning a TT 39 nitro engine into this baby !

                                I'm also thinking in the same direction. A 30 size engine in this baby. How's the quality? Does it have the same problem as belt-cp?
