its an ego thing i know. heehee. if you are still using 11T, you will be amazed at the performance after changing to 13T.

cant really compare....

their setup is different..

1.their servos are faster(the hs65 is actually a tad slow) and most run them at 6V with UBEC..

2.their pitch is also setup to be +/- 12 or even more

3.hs is higher, and likely to have switched to idle up mode in mid stick

4.they are using better and harder blades like radix carbon blades.

5.lastly and most importantly, the pilot is different. these guys move the T stick really fast.

come to jln bahar or bishan, u'll see those kinda "punch" outs very often. btw one of our kakis, is running hs65 on 6v, hs ard 2800, on stock TT and esc; his punchouts look pretty decent to me

forgot to mention, motor timing and throttle response settings on the esc are important too

I think the more popular JGF for Titan is 500TH (400W) and not SH (350W).
I am using 500Th with 12T, enough power for me learning.

Anyway I am at Yishun today, temporary area for all Bishaneers. Superhornet assisted me with his Third Eye, and determined that my max pitching were not at 10 degrees as my pitch guage had previously shown to be. Indeed when I turned the blade grip links to increase pitch to counter the fact that there was neg pitch in my supposed mid stick set to "no pitch", I got pretty much the punch increase that i hadnt have. flew for a some 7.30 minutes.

Now i should work on the other aspects

throttle response is the sensitivity of the esc to throttle changes from the tx. it only applies when u are using T curves.. and it is pretty much redundant in gov mode. BTW, not all escs have this setting i think

Dun trust the Pitch guage 100% ! .....use it to get your pitch to the ball park figure, then go fly the heli and make slight adjustment so that it gets the right "feel" !

i put the 9254 on the stock mount just the first hole and used the rubber gromments. ill pst a pic later.

Have you consider a 9650 ? Fits the stock rudder servo mount nicely.

Would advise you to consider the HS65HB or MG for cyclics instead ....they're better and cheaper .....but if you aredi have the HS56, then use that by all means.

may change to a hs-81

What about the Futaba S3154 ? ......has much better specs than the HS81 .....there are some stories of bro here burning out theirs ......but there are also many others who are running theirs very well without any problems. .....I believe it's in the setup with the gyro.
