I would, but I am now streamlining my budget for better cyclic servos and hoping to release the hs55 on my mini titan to my glider, since I already have hds-877. Also, since we are now on this, I wonder if the 2100T would behave like the 401, giving so much instruction to my hds-877 that it would eventually fry in DS mode. And would the s3154 be able to take 401 in DS mode? I heard from RCgroups that the hds-877 had such a problem with frying fast from stalling voltage, binds or going in DS mode, but would something like s3154 handle well in the same situations?

I've fixed up my mini titan, but i somehow managed to FRY my tx.

Wrong polarity. And Doug warned me too. Hahha opps. Painful, but a good lesson to be always remembered from then on. rotor.com.sg can only look in my tx issue after new year, but I don't mind hanging around tomorrow, and if any one of you have a spare RX or has a tx on 35 mhz and have reciever for it, I really dun mind bringing it down to hook up for you guys to try. Just don't bet on the setup. haha. please inform before hand.

sorry I did not make it to bishan on tuesday during new year hols, some sudden visiting plan from my dad, and looks like I cant make it for the coming one either, another visiting plan. haha

on the bright side, my Tx is back and I am back in business. I got a friend to help me extend my emoli 3S pack so that I can mount them with one cell on the batt tray and two cell in the undercarriage between the skids. Its insane, but its in the name of CG.

I did it again!!!


I tried to fly my heli without verifying if the cyclic respond in correct direction with my stick.

Twice.

Thus it lifted a little and veered off till it hit the floor due to constant wrong cyclic in-put.

Result: after all analysis, seems like only the flybar needs changing, or bending back, which I opt not to at this point. Lost a blade grip link too.

greenh0rn, looks like I am the one making statistics. haha.

Lesson in Life 02: Always check cyclic and rudder in-put responce to your stick during setup.

they should do something to the tail grip screws. my tail blades get loose eventually. Imagine if the screws came off in flight~! Has anyone tried using nuts to lock down in a tail grip?

Wanna check... Can the futaba 3154 digital fit without modifying the mounts for cyclic?

If 3154 has such weak frame, perhaps its is not good for cyclic.

Given that under load, if your horns and servo motor can take it, perhaps the motor mount and the frame will give way instead, and will loosen out, eventually becoming un-true. But thats an opinion too

anyway I have some tracking issues too, tracking can CHANGE IN FLIGHT!! whats all this talk in rcgroup about gluing the lever bearings? I don't understand how it affects pitch

Remember ! ....Always LUBRICATE before you insert anything anywhere !

I think they mean to locktite the bearings ....if your bearing housing is loose, it will induce slop or play in the head assembly and that in turn will affect your pitch.

You mean "de-virginize" the bugger right ? .....since you aredi "push in and pull out" .....how can you virginize the bugger back ?

Oh then to properly phase it, it would be a virginisation operation.

Seems like you have to CA the outer race of the wash out and bell levers bearings to acquire a virgin fit to the hole, then the tracking would stay. Can any mini T owners out there verify with this?
