Hi Ghostfit. May I ask whether why u need to replace your HS-50 for your TRex tail servo?
Any problem on your HS-50? Or is it you decided to just go digital?

        Hi SH,

No problems with the HS-50 on the tail (Still running it on my HDE) ...But I think it's kinda waste to run a Futaba 401 with an analogue servo because the 401 was designed to give the best tail response (Speed) in DS mode with a digital tail servo.
But in the past, all the digital servos were too big ! ....now the Fut 3154 seems to fit the bill (I'm considering the bits and pieces to put into my SE )
Looks like I'll go full digital on this bird (If testing goes smoothly with the CC35 ESC's BEC coping with the digital load)
Seriously running out of ...Storage space !

Besides this servo, I was also thinking of the JR's DS285 digital servo. suppose to be recommended for the trex SE

The best analogue servo for a Trex tail i have come across is the Hitec HS81.

                  Hi all~

Sorry broe Ghostfit, borrow your thread

What's the difference between analogue and digital? I need to get one as I crashed so badly that one of my head 7.6g servo, it's gears teeth flatten.

                  Thank you~...

Simplest way to put it will be, digital servos are more accurate becos they are constantly hunting for the more precise position.

Downside: Price, and becos it is 'hyper-active' it also has higher battery consumption.

No problem, i just happen to be around.

Which servo did you kill the head off? for Hitec servos, spare gears are available at a very low price.

It's the walkera #60 stock 7.6g servo, I don't think those hitec gears fit, no choice lor, have to get a new one...

I doubt if you can find any Walkera servos replacement gears in sg. ...Hitec servos have the most comprehensive range of replacement gears and parts at Rotor !
