The person must have crashed it. Who would continue building up seeing that the frame is bent?

Come to think of it... the EP8's metal frame is pretty good. Cos if u crash and bend it, can remove, straigthen it out and reuse.

Been flying this machine for 1mnt now
here are some updates/comments

Added Quick of Japan fan for Hacker A30 motor.
And bought down the temperature significantly!!

Crashed the EP8 only once dues to glitches.
The blades were still spinning while on the ground (chicken dance!! yea!)
Only minor parts of the blade got damanged, had to replace spindle shaft.

routing the antenna thru silicon tube all the way to tail seems to help.

overall this Japanese made heli flies very well, and now I feel that Trex is really challenging to fly!

Ive progressed from FF to FFF and backward flight within a month with EP8 (i started heli hobby only 4 months ago with a Trex)

Design is very simple which leaves lots of space for other applications (additons of flight data recorder ..etc)

Probably the best bang for buck for this 15 sized heli!

EP8 Crashed!@#

Got hit by glitches while flying @ bedok with my 35mhz FM, and it went inverted and fell from ard 3 story high.

Thought it wld be gd to share the crash assessment..
Here goes..
Main shaft, anti rotation blacket, linkage rod, spindle shaft, flybar rod, main blade, pitch arm & mixing arm got damanged.

It was quite annoying getting the rotor head and stuff out from the badly bended flybar rod .. the maingear survived the crash tho!
