Please recommend 3D main rotor blades for Raptor 50!
TT 60s, they are the cheapest of the carbons...
very good blades, better than the carbon tech from rotor
too bad my friend broke it while 'trying to fly'
if you order any blades, let me know
seen some SAB in action....flyer told me it's a lot 'smoother' than Funkey.....can be found in Cyberheli.com
I personally prefer black carbontech funkeys with 3D tip (tapered tips), but like Art mentioned, silver funkeys are cheaper to whack...I find them good enuff for most maneuvers except hard tic tocs where they tend to flutter a bit, resulting in poor timing & response.

Fluttering of blades ... do check your linkages Hehe, had bad experiences of fluttering during 3d manv when my double links was a little worn and some screws not fully tighten. May help a little if you try rebuilding your head and check if grip bearings are worn.

Well, if there's a problem in the rotor head setup, then changing blades also won't solve the fluttering issue during hard pitch changover maneuvers.
And you can also hear the 'warrrrpppp' sound of blade farting being very different when u try the black funkey carbontech.
The problem with Funkey FG (silver) blades isn't really obvious with 600mm, but when u go longer like 680mm for 90size, then the weakness of the funkey FG blades is amplified.
If your pocket can handle, and u think u're up to the stage of hardcore 3D, it's always better to go MS composite 600mm...Got a pair and they're excellent...but I can't bear to use them....
