For all Bug owners, these are the following vital data:

CG is 2 3/4" to 2 7/8" from the wing root LE.

Rudder throw is 1/4" both ways

Elevator throw is 3/16" both ways.

Just did a preliminary glide. This thing's a definite floater. Got a 4-cell 150mAh pack from rotor. Fits in the nose section perfectly. I wonder how long would 150mAh last though..... hehe

Glad that you like the Bug. A few days ago, I went down to BR when there's totally no wind. I was discus launching my Bug into the calm air for about half an hour before I went home. At one point, I managed an over 1 min extended glide when I hit some very small bubbles of lift. Not bad for a handy size glider.

I must say it does glide very well.

Bernard, the 4 cell i had didnt want to hold charge, so i reverted back to a 6v photo-lithuim setup. Kind of nose heavy for now.

Btw, with the CG all corrected, the thing flew it self for a good 10secs in classic chuck glider circuit style! Amazing!

Oh is the photo lithium 6 volts? I thought its's only 3 v?

Is it unable to charge or just won't give enough output after charging? For mine, I had to 'zap' it with about 4.8v voltage first before charging. Otherwise my charger will not detect the cells and won't start charging.
It's been left on the shelf so long it's voltage dropped to 0v.

I tried mine today.

It will charge, just that it discharges itself almost immediately, thus not holding charge.

Im using dual 3v cells in series, making 6v. Gives me the peace of mind.

probably a better option than the 150mAh kan Cells. hehe...
