    You are rite

My 11.1V 3500Mah Lipo is almost the same size as the stock 1800 NiCd, just slightly thicker. And with that, it cannot fit in the MM batt compartment.

It can fit my HSP XSTR-Pro just nice though.

Where to get the differential Balls.
Where to get the Off-Road Wheels.
Don't seems to fit any from the market.
The Front wheel shaft are fixed. The bearings sit on the shaft & the wheel sits on the bearing. very different design from Tamiya where the the wheel is fixed to the shaft and the shaft ride on the bearing.
Hey Baz, sent you a PM on the Speed-T.

Use pvc sheet to cover the bottom of the lipo pack for protection.

can you explain to me the part on the pvc sheet?
are you talking about those foam sheet to protect against shock and vibration ?

I'm using repack 2200mAH, 2s lipos in my MT. Using just bamboo shrink wraps to pack the lipos. Tie the pack to the battery holder with rubber bands. So far it's ok for me, as I don't run the truck in rocky ground.
PVC sheets is to wrap around the pack for extra protection against pebbles, just a suggestion.

Limited place to run the Speed T with 3S lipo clocking 65 miles per hour. That's why i only use 2S Lipo.
with 3S, think you better stick to the locker differential. else your ball diff will kaboom in no time.

Thanks for the advise Badz. That means I cannot use 3S for off-road?

Speed T is design RTR for On-Road, the "Road Weapon" tires give a very good grip on tarmac only.
Adjust your suspension low so that the drive shaft horizontal to the level ground. This give you very low chasis with little ground clearance.

To convert to Off-Road, you need to change to ball differential, Off-Road tires, increase your suspension spring tension & lower your gearing.

                      If you're into Off-Road Truggy.
With so many upgrades to complete, might as well buy a HPI E-Firestorm Flux or get the Traxxas Rustle VXL.
