Just want to know anybody using 7.4v Lipo on brush ESC and Motor? Can it be used?

Yes, use it on my Mini Madness monster truck with stock brush ESC and Motor. Stock battery is NiCd 6 cells.

Lipo Worry....

Yes u can use Lipo battery on brushed motor and esc, but take note
dont' let the voltage drop below 3v-3.4v, otherwise yr Lipo will die (unable to charge again)

If your stock battery is 6 cell nimh, you can use a 2 cell nimh. The difference is only 0.2V. But the performance is very different.

Defiantly can see the difference, I would say 25%.
And run time will be different depends on pack capacity.

I’m using my old 2200mAh 20C lipo repack into 2S. No bloating so far. Just not to over discharge the packs.

Lipo is definitely better!

You will see new life in your old motor. U will find acceleration noticeably faster, slightly faster top speed and longer battery life. The power stays almost constant till the LVC cuts in. Lipos are lighter, that means that your car will be lighter and more efficient. The weight of the lipo helps with the runtime, acceleration and top speed.
