well i got a manta ray, and yes the nikko style shell is ugly and my heart wont ache when i trash it 
after thrashing it i wont even bother to clean it
parts wise u can still order from tamiya on the weaker parts for the manta/top force. hopups is the more difficult part, the motor mount must be change to alum type, and so far only gpm from hong kong is still making it, they also make other stuffs like knuckles c hubs bla bla
